TALENT IS NOT ENOUGH: THE JOURNEY OF A YOUNG ALBANIAN ARTIST, PAVLO HASANI
Every family holds stories of pride, but sometimes these stories go beyond the walls of a home and take on a broader meaning. One such story is the journey of Pavlo Hasani, a young artist who is steadily building his profile in the world of art.
Born on August 27, 2007, in Rethymno, Crete, and raised between two cultures, Pavlo encountered art at an early age. At just 7 years old, he stepped onto the stage for the first time with the group “Trad Folk Tirana,” marking the beginning of a path that would be followed by continuous engagement in various artistic fields.
Today, as a student at the Artistic High School in the Painting department, he represents a rare profile of a multidimensional young artist. Painting, dance, acting, and singing are all integral parts of his formation, which he continues to develop through consistent commitment and personal dedication.
His achievements are notable. In 2022, he was awarded first prize at a dance festival in Turkey with the group “Trad Folk Tirana.” That same year, he was named Best Performer in a literary competition and made his theatrical debut in the play “The Case of Blerta.” His journey continued on national stages, including the National Experimental Theatre “ArTurbina,” as well as in other productions such as the drama “Is Love Judged?”
Beyond the stage and his accomplishments, what truly distinguishes Pavlo is the dedication and seriousness with which he approaches art. He is not simply a young person with talent, but an individual who works to turn talent into identity.
Watching a young artist grow and take shape is always a special process. In Pavlo’s case, this process is accompanied by a strong sense of pride and belief in the future. He represents a new generation that not only dreams, but also works to build its own path.
And perhaps this is why his story deserves to be told: because it is a story of hard work, passion, and potential that is only just beginning to unfold.
WHEN PRIDE HAS A NAME: PAVLO
Writing about your own child is perhaps the easiest and at the same time the most difficult thing. Every parent could find the most beautiful words for their child, but in Pavlo’s case, those words are truly deserved.
Pavlo is a boy who carries within himself a rich artistic world. From an early age, he showed that art was not just a passing inclination, but a fundamental part of his identity. At the age of seven, he stepped onto the stage for the first time with the dance group “Trad Folk Tirana,” marking the beginning of a journey that would grow with experiences, emotions, and successes.
He is not only a talented painter, but also a sensitive dancer, a dedicated actor, and a singer with a distinctive voice. In every field where he expresses himself, Pavlo does not settle for participation—he strives to give his very best. That is precisely what makes him special.
As a mother, the pride I feel is not connected only to his achievements, but to the way he grows every day: wise, well-raised, and with the soul of a true artist. Being Pavlo’s parent means feeling secure, fulfilled, and deeply happy. Between us, there is also a special bond—we share many of the same passions. We both paint, we both cook, we both dance. But he goes even further: he sings, and his voice carries an emotion that touches everyone who hears it.
Every time I see him step onto the stage, I relive the same feeling as the first time. It is something not easily explained—a mixture of pride, love, and gratitude. My heart fills completely, because I see not only my son, but an artist who is growing and finding his place in the world.
And in the end, above all, Pavlo remains a child with a beautiful soul—and that is the greatest achievement of all.
