Mansour Younes, and Egyptian Visual Artist | Founder of a Global Artistic Vision for Peace and Humanity
Born in 1975, Egyptian visual artist Mansour Younes emerged as a remarkable artistic talent from an early age, carrying within him an exceptional sensitivity toward beauty, color, and human emotion. Art, for him, was never merely a profession; it became a lifelong spiritual language through which he expresses love, peace, memory, and the dignity of humanity.
In 1997, he pursued his academic studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting, where his natural talent evolved into a mature artistic philosophy rooted in both technical discipline and emotional depth. Since then, his journey has continued to flourish across Egypt and beyond, through numerous solo and collective exhibitions that established his presence within contemporary Arab and international art circles.
Mansour Younes belongs artistically to the Naturalist School, yet his paintings are deeply infused with a poetic romanticism that gently reveals itself through light, silence, atmosphere, and emotional tenderness. His works often create a visual dialogue between the spirit of ancient Egypt and the pulse of modern humanity, blending heritage with contemporary expression in a uniquely refined artistic language.
Throughout his career, he has received numerous international certificates of recognition and honorary distinctions from respected cultural institutions worldwide, honoring both his artistic achievements and his humanitarian contributions through art.
Beyond his personal artistic practice, Mansour Younes has devoted a major part of his life to discovering and nurturing emerging talents. Since 1998, he has worked passionately in art education and creative mentorship, helping young artists find their voices and pathways into the world of fine arts. Many of those he supported have gone on to study at prestigious Egyptian art academies and later became independent artists with promising professional careers.
He is the founder and owner of the Oscar International & Arab Magazine for Arts and Literature, as well as the founder of the Younes Foundation for Talent Discovery, both created with the purpose of elevating culture, supporting creativity, and building bridges between artists across nations.
As a curator and cultural organizer, Mansour Younes has successfully presented nearly forty-five artistic exhibitions and events during recent years. He also serves as President of the Olive Branch Festival, a cultural initiative dedicated to spreading peace, artistic dialogue, and human connection through the universal language of art.
His exhibitions have been hosted in distinguished cultural venues, including the Cairo Opera House, galleries affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, and several prestigious artistic and historical locations throughout Cairo. Through these spaces, his art has continuously celebrated the harmony between Egypt’s timeless civilization and the spirit of contemporary creativity.
Deeply believing that peace and love are the highest forms of human strength, Mansour Younes continues to work toward the creation of an international humanitarian artistic movement founded upon culture, soft power, and mutual understanding between peoples.
Alongside his fine art career, he has also worked extensively in artistic interior decoration for villas and palaces, producing numerous valuable works distinguished by elegance, authenticity, and emotional richness.
Despite his connections with prominent cultural and public figures, he remains profoundly attached to simplicity, sincerity, and genuine human relationships. Those who know him often recognize in his personality the same softness, romance, and humanity that illuminate his paintings.
Today, Mansour Younes maintains strong artistic friendships and collaborations across the world with creators who share his vision of art as a bridge toward peace. Together, they proudly describe themselves as:
“United Artists on the Path of Peace and Love”
Reflections of Artist Mansour Younes
Art and Life
I believe that art is the noblest language humanity has ever created to express itself and to reflect the world that surrounds it. Words may sometimes fail, but art possesses a unique ability to reach the heart without the need for translation. It is the mirror of life, the memory of nations, and humanity’s message to the future.
On Women
I do not look at a woman merely as a symbol of beauty or as a pleasing image to the eye. I see her as a source of wisdom, intelligence, and strength. She is a vital force in life itself, a partner in shaping the world and building the future.
To discover the true strength of a woman is to discover one of life's greatest secrets. She is not only beautiful; she is profoundly intelligent, capable, and essential to the progress of humanity.
Respect
Every civilization begins with respect and every great human being understands the value of honoring others. To me, respecting women is an expression of respect for life itself, because life can only flourish when we respect every human being, regardless of gender, color, language, or culture.
Diversity and Difference
Difference is not a flaw in life; it is the essence of its beauty. Night differs from day, life differs from death, and meeting differs from parting, yet together they create the harmony of existence.
If all people were the same, life would lose its colors. The diversity of cultures, languages, traditions, and perspectives should never be a cause for hostility. Instead, it is an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to build bridges of understanding and friendship.
Humanity
When we love humanity, we lay the first stone of a brighter future. Hatred has never built a nation, created a civilization, or planted a flower along the path of life.
The greatest achievement of any human being is to remain truly human.
A Message of Peace
We are all children of the same Earth, living beneath the same sky, sharing the same hopes and dreams for a better future.
Let us transform our differences in culture, language, and identity into a beautiful human symphony—one that enriches us, teaches us, and brings us closer together, rather than dividing us.
A Thought
"Art is a message of love. Woman is one of life's greatest strengths. Humanity is one family. And diversity is the bridge that leads us toward a deeper understanding of one another and of the world we share."
