Murtadha Al Jassani

Murtadha Al-Jassani is a member of the Cultural Center for Arabic Calligraphy and Ornamentation, and a member of the Iraqi Calligraphers Association.
He served as Artistic Director for the German art organization DCS Contemporary (2018-2021).  Murtadha worked as a journalist for Al-Sabah newspaper (2019-2024), writing articles and reports and conducting interviews.

• Produced several art collections, including (Rebellious Ink, No, Flamenco, The Maqama of Love, The Manifestation of Beauty, Illusion, Al-Niffari's Discourse)

• Worked on developing the visual script invented by Al-Saggar, producing the "Developed Visual Script," which then evolved into the "Manifestation Script" and subsequently into the "Theory of Manifestation."

• His works were chosen as covers for Iraqi newspapers, most notably the special issue on the liberation of Mosul.
• His works were chosen as teaching models in some schools.
• His works were chosen as models in graduate studies theses (A Comparative Study of Typography Art) by the artist Saadi Al-Rahal.

• Several writers, critics, and specialists have written about his work. • His works have been acquired in the UAE, Germany, Qatar, Sweden, the Netherlands, and the United States.
